An introductory level reading course for both guitarists and bassists, but is applicable to all instrumentalists. This course covers basic notational definitions and concepts such as meter, key signatures, and syncopation. Practice exercises are included in each lesson. Topics include: note and rest definitions, triplets, ties, repeat signs, dotted notes, ledger lines, studies in all 12 key signatures, and much, much more... Recommended for guitarists or bassists who want to begin reading standard notation.
