Course Description |

A course dedicated to building effective technique with both the picking and fretting hands. A well rounded program for all players, regardless of their experience level. Especially useful for beginning players interested in gaining a solid technical foundation without bad habits. Course objective is to arm the player with the techniques and concepts to handle most any
playing situation. Course topics include sweep picking, 3-note per string scale patterns, octave dispersion, and review sections. Introduces 3 musical examples (Picking Etude). Each etude will employ techniques and material covered in the previous lessons in a progressive manner. Metronome required to follow assignments.
