A course that covers the basics of chord construction and chord theory, applicable to all styles of music. Initial topics covered include roots of chords and open chords, and then progress through bar chords, the various bar chord shapes, major and minor 7th chord types, and a basic explanation of theory. The student will learn the notes on the fretboard and how root notes and chords connect. Recommended for beginner and intermediate level players interested in learning the building blocks of harmony and their application on the guitar.
