If you are an "ear" player, but have always wanted to read music, this course is for you! An introductory level reading course for bassists, this course covers note reading skills, key signatures, syncopated rhythms, and more. Practice reading exercises are included in each lesson, and each exercise progressively helps you to get your reading chops together. Topics include: note and rest definitions, triplets, ties, repeat signs, dotted notes, ledger lines, studies in all 12 key signatures, and much, much more... Recommended for bassists who want to begin reading standard notation.
